Dating a 24 year old
Yes, you're both adults, but she isn't done maturing. She'll probably change a lot over the next couple years. I'm not saying not to date her, but I would keep it very casual for awhile."If approved by parent" probably means that the 24 year old man AND both the parents will go to jail. The parents are allowing or promoting the crime of child rape and the 24 year old man is performing child…I think it's important to realise that a lot of things that may seem trivial or stupid to you (the older party) are going to be a big deal for your younger other half. You have been there and experienced those things, you've learned that there are bigger fish to fry, but they will be experiencing it for the first time and it will have greater significance to them.
You can have things in common, but that doesn't matter if she or you can't handle a relationship without possessiveness.
The best advice I could give you, personally, is that her parents may be somewhat disapproving and it is very important that you respect their concerns.
My friend is 30 and in a relationship with a 21 year old.
A lot of people are saying that 5 years isn't a lot, but I would disagree here.
At 20 she's either going to still be in college or still be working some shit retail job.
